The family Cucurbitaceae is the largest vegetable group cultivated extensively in the subtropical and tropical countries. The family comprises about 117 genera and 825 species grown in warmer parts. Dr. D.K. Sharma worked as Head and Coordinator in Agrawal PG College, Jaipur from 2001 to 2015. Presently he works in VMOU, Kota as Regional Director. He has 19 years teaching and research experience. He published 40 research papers and authored 8 books.
